I could use some insight on this. I've got a 97 F350, starts great but after a few seconds CEL comes on and engine lopes and eventually shuts itself down. I did not have this issue prior to working on it, so i've done something.
The work i've done:
E-Fuel
Turbo Rebuild
Up-Pipes
Adrenaline HPOP
IPR Rebuild
ICP Sensor Replacement
After it all was completed, got it all cleaned up and made sure everything was correct. The truck started up with no issues and ran great for 20-30 minutes. Then the CEL came on and engine would lope and shut itself down unless I kept the RPMs up a bit. This is continuing on every startup, starts great and runs 2-3 seconds, then the CEL comes on and lopes.
I've got a reader that was showing an ICP issue, that was before I replaced the sensor. But that did not seem to change anything. However, I am getting an EBP Sensor fault and am wondering if the tube being clogged or sensor being bad would cause these issues. I'm in the process of trying to remove the damn tube, but it's not being nice. I figure it wouldn't hurt to replace it anyways.
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Edit:
I just ran diagnostics on the truck again and came up with an ICP Senor Code.
P1211 - ICP Higher/Lower than desired. What could cause this issue? The senor is new, OEM. Could the IPR not working correctly make the ICP throw this code?

It could still be air the hpo system, or it could be a faulty icp sensor or bad pigtail. Have you tried unplugging the icp to see if it idles better? Was it an oem icp?
It is also possible that the ipr is not functioning properly, even after a rebuild.
I still have a feeling that it could be air in the system as well. I keep hearing that it needs to be driven for some time before it fully purges itself. The sensor is OEM, could possibly be the pigtail. It looks to be in good condition, but it still is the original. I believe i've unplugged it once before to check if it would run better, to double-check, i'll head out there now and re-confirm. As for the IPR, i'm leaning towards installing a new one just to that I know it's not the issue. I appreciate your response!
When I finished putting my engine back in after yanking it I got that code for quite a while. Idling wont fix getting the air out. Gotta drive it. The way I got my air out quick was a giant hill in front of my house. first couple pulls up the hill she smoked and chugged, starts were hard took almost 6 seconds to start. All cleared up with driving. What also did help was the Adrenaline instructions from dieselSite on pulling the ICP sensor and purging the air trapped under it.
