Question for you guys with more experience with Forscan than I. I downloaded Forscan last fall and made the common changes folks are making. I dont recall if it was a 2 month version, 1 year, etc. free trial and need to go back now and reverse the Nav in motion change due to the KIP bug. Before connecting to the truck is there a way to look at Forscan when launched and see if my subscription is still valid? If not how do I renew extended Forscan? Which as I recall I need to make changes.
Guys, just want to let you know I was able to determine the extended license expired in January {it was a 2 month free version}. Pretty clear cut upgrading Forscan to latest version, pay for the 1 year license, receive the activation key with confirmation email and plug the key into software and bam back in business with the extended version needed to configure and program our trucks. This site and its members are awesome!
I have the same thing. I put it in reverse and had my wife walk around and the little truck did nothing when the proximity sensors went off so I am clueless as to why it is there. OTOH, if in the 360 mode and you open a door you can get another truck. I think it is some software engineer just trying stuff out.

My truck says I have version 354 (no dots). I don't get the same picture on the right as you. I still get (always have) one truck.
I think the proximity sensors sense inside the truck if something moves when locked (like a moth - or the baby folks leave behind too often).
My update date/time screen looked different than in the video (for what's that worth) but still had the same selection options..
I've always had WiFi on and it was connected to my WiFi in the house. So not sure if I ever got updates or if I was always at this revision but assume if I got updates they were done when at home. Truck arrived July '22. So I am not sure that WiFi has to be off for it to receive any updates; I would think it doesn't matter as a screen says turning on WiFi improves updates. I hardly ever set the parking brake when parked in my garage and never lock it - so, again, not sure if updates still come in or if I never needed to get one.
Which brings me to the reason for commenting..... What carrier does Ford use for cellular service? I ask because AT&T really sucks at my house but Verizon (which I use) is great). So now that I have turned off WiFi we'll see if things act/work differently (like alerts on Ford app when I open a door.
I received the OTA update on my 2022 SD Sync 4 and now have the small truck in the upper right display while using the 360 degree cameras for parking. I find this to be undesirable as I use that part of the image to make sure I don’t hit another vehicle in a parking lot. I called Ford (800 392-3673) technology department and explained that this addition is not a good idea as it interferes with seeing other vehicles. If you are unhappy give Ford a call. The person I spoke to indicated they depended on feedback from users.
my 06/22 delivered truck is at version 534 and it says it is up to date.
friends 11/21 delivered truck is at 6.1.0 and has the Alexa ICON and the smaller truck on the 360 degree view when he manually selects that camera (not when he puts the truck in reverse).
I purchased my SD on 1/20/23. On 2/22, my system updated to 3.5.2. It still says it is up-to-date and no other updates are available, while others are reporting updates to 3.5.4. I guess my VIN has not made it through the update queue yet.

Mine did the same. I have been trying to force the next update, but it appears to be stuck. I get the software update icon on the screen after I start the truck. When I touch the icon it says there is an update available. Sometimes the update info is blank and other times it shows 3.5.3 pending. It doesn't seem to want to install.
I have a 2022, built 7/29 and delivered 10/26/22. Lariat Value package. Not sure if or when it was last updated, but it shows Sync version 354 (no decimals) but I've never seen the update icon or a message about an update and it's a daily driver. It was at the dealer for gooseneck install in early March and was supposed to have every module updates with latest versions, but I don't know if that was actually done or not. I still do not have full screen car Carplay. The small truck in upper right hand has always been there for me in backup camera view, and shows the rear backup and cross traffic sensors and if they're picking something up they turn yellow and red. I don't have the 360 view system. Maybe that helps someone. So, if others have version 354, do you have full screen Carplay? This is very confusing.

I'm on version 354 after receiving power-up 3.5.2 the week after getting my truck home. Ford's version numbering isn't the best. Full screen isn't in 354. I will check to see if the truck has installed the pending 3.5.3 power up later this morning.

Be careful what you wish for. I just got 3.5.3 and the only change I've noticed so far is the extra little truck in the overhead camera view. Who at Ford thought that was necessary?

Oh, and by the way, O-H
I-O!
I was hoping for full screen CarPlay, but after seeing the little truck blocking the front corner I'm not so sure. Here's what my truck has said for about a month:
Again, call and complain about the truck image added in the upper right blocking needed visual info.
I did that on Friday and had a very nice conversation with “Joseph” about that and other issues I have experienced as well as feature enhancements that I would like to see.

This update completed. Now says up-to-date. Sync version is still 354. It must've updated something besides the APIM. Power-up 3.5.3 doesn't add full screen CarPlay or the little truck on the 360 view.
