I think my truck just pulled down 3.5.4 in the last day or so. Sync 4. Now everytime I start the truck it goes to the Audio screen even though it was on Nav when I shut the truck off. I looked through the setting today and didn't see any place to set a default startup screen.
Ya full of bugs how is your nave search does it have the Kip words in it?
Nav search seems to be functioning properly with no additional letters or characters being displayed. But it still is going to the Audio screen every restart.
On the plus side, it now looks like the FordPass App is showing the DEF status in the app for a Sync 4 system. Last year I did a small survey of FTE members who could see their DEF status in the app and only folks with Sync 3 saw it then. Nobody with Sync 4 could see it in the app.
I went and forced an update earlier and got 3.5.3. I did it again hoping to get 3.5.4 for full screen CarPlay. Now I'm worried I'll get the KIP bug....

I had a 2017 I believe that always switched to tuner they had to replace actual radio to fix. After I fought with them for many visits lol
I called into sync help and they said there are known issues they're working on to release a fix she didn't know for sure what but hopefully that's all it is

My truck has received two OTA updates in the last month. One added Alexa and yesterdays (3.5.4) mentioned the dual phone/screen resizing and updated owner's manual. Navigating seems fine.
Other than the Alexa symbol the only other change I've noticed is when I activate the 360 cameras I now see two trucks on the screen whereas before I only remember the standard big one.
I have the same thing. I put it in reverse and had my wife walk around and the little truck did nothing when the proximity sensors went off so I am clueless as to why it is there. OTOH, if in the 360 mode and you open a door you can get another truck. I think it is some software engineer just trying stuff out.

I renewed the Navigation App yesterday (expired last month) and later in the day i had the long awaited Carplay full screen update and my Navigation was again activated. Problem is Ingot the KIP glitch or bug. It’s essentially worthless to me as I’m not gonna try to use it with that sh^t going on. Anyway, those of ypu that got that bug, have you had it corrected or told what the fix is?
You have to put you Nav search while in motion setting in apim back to how it was with forscan there is no working code for search in motion since update. I put mine back and all normal now again

Question for you guys with more experience with Forscan than I. I downloaded Forscan last fall and made the common changes folks are making. I dont recall if it was a 2 month version, 1 year, etc. free trial and need to go back now and reverse the Nav in motion change due to the KIP bug. Before connecting to the truck is there a way to look at Forscan when launched and see if my subscription is still valid? If not how do I renew extended Forscan? Which as I recall I need to make changes.
