What is that white elbow fitting with the plastic line going to? That tee fitting you have in there looks like it's fairly large. Could you move the smaller elbow fitting to the smaller vacuum port and would the tee fitting be large enough to hook the PCV valve?
@Franklin2@FuzzFace2 the line coming off the T goes to the distributor cap. The large line in the front I mispoke, it goes to the grey box thing in the front passenger side. Pics below.
This line attaches to front of carb.
The thing in the second picture is not the distributor but the oil pressure sending unit and shouldn't have a vacuum hose going to it but a wire.

That is exactly where it goes. It should be part of a plug that is laying on the driver's side inner fender. The temp sensor wire will go to the same place. You can see in the diagram the oil pressure wire is white/red, the temp sending unit wire is red/white.
Because you have a 300 six them wires run in a harness that is held to the side cover with clips IIRC.
I would have to check mine to make sure and I cant do that right now sorry.

Sooooo turns out the random hose I we all though came from the oil pressure switch actually is off the distributor and is correctly placed. I checked and my oil pressure switch is fine. I replaced the weird t-post looking connection with the original "tree", vacuum covered the unused ports and everything seems to be running smoothly.
