So I'm looking to install a fuel pressure gauge, but I'm not overly confidant in the GlowShift brand gauges from the reviews I've read so just curious if you fellas know of any other solid brands? Also wondering if it would just be easier to use an analog fuel pressure gauge and just tap it in every now and then to check that fuel pressure is in proper range?
The problem with Glow shift is they're chinese junk but have improved in quality in the last few years, With that said I have run mine for several years without one issue. Auto meter. ISSpro and several other gauges are out there and are worth the money IMO.
As for tapping into a diesel port to run a mechanical gauge and having the possibility for leaks, fk no.
Either monitor fuel pressure all the time or don't, there is no in between.
I have one of the Glowshift 3-in-1 gauges that monitors EGT, Boost, and fuel pressure. No problems with it yet. Also had one on a cummins I used to own & had no issues with that one either. Yes, it feels cheap, but the last AutoMeter gauge i bought was similar construction - all plastic; just better mounting hardware.
My 7.3 has a 3 in 1 Glowshift. It is analog Boost, digital EGT and Trans temp. A few years ago I installed an Autometer pillar kit in a Duramax. I saw nothing about the Autometer setup that made me think it was worth the money over the GlowShift. I really like the 3 in 1 also, so I don't have a pillar full of guages, just the one, down at the bottom, and not blocking much line of sight. On the 6.0, I think I am going to bite the bullet and get the Edge CTS3.

My Livewire TS shows EOT and ECT so I'm just going to order the Glow Shift gauges for fuel pressure and oil pressure and leave it at that. I won't be towing much more than 9000lbs and maybe only a few small trips around my seasonal site area so I don't think there's any need to monitor TFT.
Can you buy a sensor and add fuel pressure to your Livewire? That would be a cleaner solution than more gauges. Are you wanting to monitor low pressure or high pressure oil? Both should be viewable on the Livewire, I think.

Have Glowshift fuel pressure sensor waiting to be installed and no idea how to tap it into my LW, but got the pod for it so will probably just mount it beside the LW screen. I'll check out the LW and see if oil pressure is in there or not.
