08 cab on 2000 7.3 help needed

08 cab on 2000 7.3 help needed

I have a lot of questions but i want to start off seeing if anybody has wiring diagrams for the 08 hvac system and the 2000 hvac system

You're gong to need the 7.3 harness in the 08 cab, so harvest the 7.3 harness and install all of it in the 08 cab. Grab the HVAC from the 7.3 cab and put that is too. Then put the 7.3 dash in.

The 7.3 harness is already in the 08 cab but im keeping the new dash in i can only get my blower motor to work on 4 but nothing else works

That, I can't help with. But if your Google-foo is good, you should be able to find something. I can't recall the year, if at all, Ford went to CANBUS.

I got my controls and blend doors to move and everything but now i just need to find the wire that tells the comppresser to kick on

What trim levels are involved? A higher trim with EATC will need the cluster/info center/etc swapped to even sniff compressor action.

2000 is a xl and 08 is an xlt but i already have the new coulmn in and am working on getting the new cluster in
and its manaul clumate controls if i cant figure out how the new controls send a signal to run the compressor to hook it up to the harness im just going to put it on an auxiliary switch
