Need Good Ball Joints
Hello, Got a 2002 F-250 228,000 miles. It's the 4WD flavor, CCLB 5.4L. I am getting parts ready for a front end ball joint install. To be honest, they haven't been changed in at least 10 years, and I ain't kidding. Can some of us chime in as to a good brand. No Dorman and nothing off China-zon (Amazon). I need good quality Ball Joints. Both sides, upper and lower. Summit Racing has a good selection, I see.....

What about Spicer? This is what I'd use.

My ball joints are original with 220k on them, don't seem to be in bad shape still... But when I do change them I'll use the Spicer.

Well, if you got 200K out of the originals, why not use Motorcraft? With the amount of torture they receive, not many will last longer than that. I used Moog when I rebuilt my 2012, but found out afterwards Moog isnt what Moog used to be, and I sold that truck not long after so can't say how well they hold up, but, they got the job done.
