After 4 xs, Ive seen a lot of wierd things and now I have logged another one. The backup sensor system failed. I replaced the speaker and all 4 sensors. It still did not work.I ordered 4 more sensors. My scan tool said the outside right and outside inner were bad. I changed both. Both center sensors now work but the two outside do not work. I re[;aced the others. Still the only ones that produce a speaker signal are the two center ones. I took a conductance wand and all 4 sensors are working and at the same intensity. So the inner 2 create an audible signal through the speaker but the outer 2 do not. Anyone have any ideas?
Check this post in my thread, I recently installed the factory Park Assist system as I never was equipped with it. One of the PAM modules had corroded terminals at it's plug, plus I had a bad speaker. The poor plug connections threw several codes. The way the PAM module is tucked away, I'm not sure how it got wet, the A/C hoses are there, but appear to be far enough away to cause any issues.
where do you find the PAM? I replaced all the sensors but then find that my fuel gage flat lines--then comes back overnight. Seems like there would be a common fault with a ground but I know not where to look.
THE ABS light came on for a while and it went away. All of this at the same time. It's a California car so not rust. GREMLINS!! Any other thoughts?.
Maybe get Forscan on there to see if any codes. My PAM threw codes that didn't trigger the CEL. I have a 2000 spare parts X, and I frequent the salvage yards and grab. So I have a couple modules.
