security infared sensor?

New subscriber here.

The picture is sideways, it's the overhead console in my 2019 F350. I asked the sales guy what the 4 small circles were. He was not sure, his guess was speakers for bluetooth cell phone use. He was going to check it out and get back to me. He later tells me they are magnets to hold things in place.

Have I properly found that this is:

Part Number: HC3Z15K609A
Item Description: Security System Infared Sensor
Anti-Theft Infrared Sensor

Thanks

Those are sensors for movement inside the cab when the alarm has been set.

Yes.

‘’Test it.

‘Lock the doors with window down, then wait about a minute and reach for the center console. Alarm should go off.

Yes, test it. It will work. How do I know you ask? I tested it! It's funny though, my dealer did not know what they were either. I also came here to find out. Sharin' and carin'...that's what we're here for!

Yes, Perimeter is just the door switches, All sensors uses the interior sensors too. If you want shock you need to add a module, there is no glass break sensors in the regular system. My dealer had no clue what the difference was between all and Perimeter either, the service writer told me it didn't do anything...duh..
You can also shut off that prompt in the settings.

Even if you select the setting for perimeter sensors only? I leave my dog in the car all the time but set it so the interior sensors are off and I have never had an issue. If if I forget then I get the full package you mentioned above :-)

Where are the door switches? On my '17 XL SuperCab front doors I can't see a thing. The rear doors have that Rube Goldberg hinge-to-end-all hinges which might hide a missile launcher and even a switch, but I can't see anything.
