They list this complete distributor on their website. Would be worth a call to them for your needs. https://pertronixbrands.com/products...ance-black-cap

checking.......

Edit:
OK the Lincoln derived Y-block uses the same distributor as the Ford Y-block.

I find some conflicting info on tuneup stuff--some posts say '57 and newer up to the mid '70s, some say '58.

I think you will find the Pertronix for any Ford V8 will work.

Compare your distributor with the cap off to any other newer Ford V8 that still has points. It should look the same.

The 272 with load-o-matic took a different kit than my 292. Best to use the distributor numbers and use the pertronix website to match up the kit needed. It is likey its the standard 1281.

According to Pertronix it will be either a 1281 or 1282. The distributor number is 12127.

This was mine that took 1282

I think its the other numbers like 4BZ or C2 that clinched it for my selection. It looks to me its a difference in the rotor in my case.

I know these pictures are horrible, but these are the best I could get, without taking the dizzy out.

That looks like the fat upside down rotor I had. Not the narrow small block looking one. Yeah those numbers are the whole show and unfortunately I cant see them in these pics.

try pulling the camera back and or rotate the dizzy for a different angle?

You also might try a small mirror and just write the numbers down on a piece of papers. FYI, I was in the dog house a few years ago because I took a small mirror from my wife's cosmetic stash. A little advice here: Don't ever return it with grease on it.

Or actually ask her to borrow one LOL
my wife offers up a suitable solution and says keep it (good for next time too)
