"Sad thing is they will never have anywhere close to the knowledge he has."
Really?? The man sits behind a wall of books and quotes info all day long!!!! Has you fooled.... Take away his books and he's just as dumb as the rest of us *******s!! Time out? sure... I freakin bored with you shiots..........................................en joy your flareside!!!!
i have had zero interaction with number dummy but im the reason he left??...lolol.... dont go anywhere robert,, it amazes me what gets people worked up...wait until i mention im putting a gm style distributor on my inline 6 and a gm one wire alternator, heads will explode. but it is a quick and very dependable upgrade for my future everyday driver..
2dwoods made an interesting point. The original beds with the wheel well outside the bed had flat steps front/behind wheel well. Then they came out with the same wheel well outside but got rid the steps. I could see that bed having a different name.
when i was growing up and even today when i talk to oldtimers, any truck bed that has its fenders on the outside of the bed box is a "stepside". it is part of the american vernacular...everyone one know a stepside ... a flareside to me was half tons in the early 90s that had it written on them...yea, i know someone will post an obscure page from a manual 60 years ago but i will always call my 66 f250 4x4 a stepside.... and anyone in the car world will know what im talking about...get the knives out, im ducking....lol
