Hey folks!
'21 XLT F150 with Pro Trailer backup assist.
Has anyone had experience zip-tying a yaw sensor to a U-Haul trailer? Obviously I don't want to permanently attach a $300 sensor to a U-Haul trailer, but I'm sufficiently bad at trailering that I want to use the system if at all possible. I saw a set-up video and it looks pretty easy- but I worry that a zip-tied sensor may not provide sufficiently accurate data.
Any experience? Or shall I be the first to share the experience?
On my 2018 I used the sticker target a few times with great success, but U-Haul trailer tongues don't allow for proper sticker placement. (I believe a software update allows my truck to use the yaw sensor or the checkerboard sticker.
