Pro Trailer sensor calibration

I'm really struggling to get the sensor calibrated. Do I need an empty 50 acre parking lot? Any tips you can offer?

Need to make sure all your measurements are within. 5 of a inch and need a clean camera. Even then the system is full of glitches. Don't relay on this for backing up a trailer.

Thanks for the reply. If you're talking about the old system with the sticker and camera, I agree. I never had any luck with it. Nothing but a sales gimmick. The new system I got with my 2021 consists of a wired sensor that gets mounted on the trailer and plugged into a 12-pin connector on the truck. There are no cameras involved and none of the measurements from the old system. During calibration it has you drive ahead for a while, then turn left or right for a while, then straight again, then turn again, etc. It never tells you how sharp to turn or how far it wants you to go but it is very picky about speed. I just can't find an open area big enough to complete the damn calibration process.

Okay both versions sticker and non sticker are available on the 21. When you make your turn they must be sharp 90 degree turns. It's shown on the setup card.
