CRANKING TIME EXCEEDED

Truck failed to start at -20F yesterday. I let it be and tried at 35F today. Got one crank before it gave me CRANKING TIME EXCEEDED on the information display and now the starter seems to be locked out. I've recharged the battery but still nothing. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the battery for 30 mins, hook it back up and try again.

Success. Tough start but she cranked and caught. Gave her a good run and all seems well.
