Slow Cranking
Hello: Can anyone help please!!!!!!!!!. I have a 1999 expy with a 5.4. The problem is that when I first start it up warm or cold it will crank very slowly but start up with no problem. If I shut it off and then start it back up it cranks fine but if I wait about a hour it will crank vwry slowly again. Had the charging system check when I replaced the battery two week ago and all is well. Any suggestion would be greatly appreiciated!!!!!

Had my girlfriend start the car while I was under it :-) and seen that the cable from the battery to the starter was arcing. Replaced the 29 cent nut 10 cent washer and it started purrfectly. It was funny that after all the testing that all that it was. Thanks for all the info guys.
