That shift **** just has the wrong insert
Those old cast iron T18 and T19 transmissions never had overdrive
You do not want a Toploader style OD in a truck IMO, and that is what your shift **** insert is for

The later ones were better but they are still not a true truck trans like the T18 T19 NP435.
