Need help, selecting TC
Guys and gals, I am looking for a transfer case for my new project. It is a 1981 CJ7 with a hodgepodge of parts, one of which is a Ford T 19 out of a late 70s Ford 4 x 4. I am trying to find the smallest and lightest transfer case I can. I have an NP 205, but it is way heavy.. My only criteria‘s are that it has a 31 spline input, so it will bolt up to the T 19 and no slip yoke. I don’t care about the low range or the strength. It will barely be offloaded, mostly just gravel roads around the farm.
In my searching, I have to come up with the BW 1345 with flanged outputs, but there may be smaller.
