transfer case questions

hi guys, got a a few quick questions about my transfer case. i have a new process 208. should i rebuild it or replace it with a borgwarner? is borgwarner a way better transfer case than the new process? will the borgwarner bolt right up or is there other concerns such as spline count or adapters?

thanks in advance guys!

There are really no best options, but for ease of the install, I would stick with the type of transfer you have now. Any of the other transfer cases will bolt up fine, but there are shifter differences that may cause a headache to fit. Also even though you have the same transfer case, look at how the rear driveshaft mounts. Some have a slip yoke and some have a fixed yoke. You need that to be the same as what you have now so your original driveshaft will fit.

The borgwarner cases are considered a little bit stronger, since their chain is a little bit wider. But the 208 has a lower ratio low range, so some people like that feature better.
