99 f 350 7.3 dsl stalls while driving

same problem it will just shut off while driving put in neutral and restart it
and carry on
it has to be electrical because it did it before i changed motor and trans
it has become more frequent like 2-3 times every 5 miles
I had a loose banks chip do this.
Visually check all wire harnesses where they might contact metal. Other than that you might have to data log with a scanner.
very interesting i pulled my banks chip on the way home today the first time it stalled and maybe 7 miles no stall im not totally convinced yet but i sure hope thats the problem

You have 34 posts so I am hoping you have seen this before... Do not throw parts at the truck. Use proper trouble shooting procedures.
FORScan, pull the codes and watch the PID's.
Check every connection on the engine to be clean and dry inside and secure, check the wires going into the bundle. This will take about an hour or so to do correctly, you will also get dirty.
Pull the 42 pin connector and check the underside for chafing on the valve cover.
Check each and every primary power connection from the battery to the block, grounds, starter, fuse panels. Clean, tight, and absolutely no corrosion in the past or present. If corrosion has be present suspect the feed wire of being bad due to high resistance.
Is the tin nut properly secure on the IPR?
Engine oil at proper level, type, and weight for conditions as well as environment with no additional additives.
Transmission fluid at proper level when warmed up??? Proper Transmission fluid?? (Mercon V) Yes this can cause issues with the engine running.
