Wanting rear liners is a no brainer to me. I like to add the front ones as well. The accessories guy at Ford is telling me there is some kind of fitment issue with the front. Ford changed something and now what used to install just fine on the 17-21 trucks no longer works.
Anyone have experience with this? Are there aftermarket alternatives that are any good?
Never heard of any difference with liner fitment 17-22. Dealership info often times is false. There are plenty of '22 owners on here that should be able to confirm or deny what you were told.

There are no aftermarket options for the front.
l guess it's just as plausible they got some defective or mislabled front liners.
My '22 F250 did not come with them so I purchased front/back OEM wheel well liners and had no fitment issues, took me about 10 minutes to install. Here are the part numbers I purchased: HC3Z-16F099-A (Front) LC3Z-9927886-A (Rear)
I installed the fronts myself. A little PITA figuring out how to line up the first but but the other was a snap. They may be talking about the little gap towards the front which shouldn't be there but I'll fix it eventually.
I believe the factory installed liners also have the gap. Welding HDPE with a soldering iron is easy enough when I have the time.

If that is what the dealer is talking about they would still be mistaken. Fitment like that is the liner, not the year, the liners on my 2019 look just like that. There is another thread complaining discussing the less than perfect cut of some of the liners.
Both my Cousin and I ordered our 2022 F350's with both front and rear and no issues that I am aware of. Glad to have them on our trucks.
it's a flying shame that they don't come with these trucks that now cost north of 60k for any semi reasonably equipped models, nothing like seeing 80k trucks with bare frames looking like something forgot to put them on. The cheapest korean econombox comes with them but those who fork over the bucks for these trucks get the honor of paying extra for it.

My 22 platinum came with the plastic rears and fabric fronts. Nothing on the window sticker about them.

The parts guy is probably going by experience with some Karens who returned them based on the gap in my picture. I doubt the dealership would care until there were some returns.

I think King Ranch and up come standard with the rear liners. Lariat black package also cones with them. As far as I know, the fronts (plastic) are not included with any trim or package.

He said the kid in the back who installs them had to cut and mangle these particular ones to get them in. When he saw he had them taken back off.
