Kicker audio
Has anyone added this to your ride. I’ve got a 20 150 XLT scab with Sirius capable center stack with 7 speakers. While at the Dealership today I inquired at the parts counter about the Kicker audio upgrade. Gave them the VIN and he entered into the system and said that there were no accessories to add. He advised me not to purchase this for my truck saying if it wouldn’t work I would be stuck with it because I couldn’t return it.

If the dealer is uninterested in installing a subwoofer/amp kit in your truck then take it to a local car audio shop. The professionals can always add a better audio system to a vehicle if your willing to pay the money. The good thing is that most local car audio shops will be cheaper than a dealer.

In my opinion you can do way better than that kicker system with aftermarket stuff. It is only an 8 inch sub with a 100 watt amp for $700 bucks! It is nice that it fits in the space but probably not worth the money and you could probably fit a 10 and a nicer amp for the same money and actually be impressed with it.
