I posted this here since it's an "Expedition" hitch cover.
I've had this hitch cover for a while and have no need for it. I am trying to think of a fun way to give it away. Some sort of contest, funniest joke,4x4'ing story or something.....You would post a joke or something and then at the end of a week or something, we have a vote and the winner gets the hitch cover.........
Sound good?
If so we can start it up tonight........
It fits a 2" hitch by the way
This is if its ok with the bosses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well 1999 xlt i like the hitch cover, but that isnt the only reason why i wrote this reply. i wanted to write this reply to tell a story about ford to my family of ford owners. ever since i was little, my family has always owned fords, its just like something we belived it, almost sad to say but its kinda like a religon. its just what i was raised around. when it came time for me to drive my parents helped me out with a 1989 fullsize bronco which my dad had for a long time after me as well but eventualy he had to sell it for different reasons. but i must say the bronco was a exelent vehicle, never broke down, just there always when you needed it. and after the bronco i purchased a jeep wrangler 1989, i know, i know. im a ford guy right? at the time i was 18 and a jeep is just downright cool, i dont care what forum you typ at. for an 18 year old it was a great vehicle. I got one for 5800 and sold it three years later for little more than what I paid for it and it kept its resale value. now here comes the real reason I had to sell my jeep is during my jeep days I maried the woman of
my dreams and soon after we had our first kid and thats when I had to say goodby to the jeep, and I was sad to see it go becouse with it went a part of my life, you know the top down and cruising, but hey this aint a jeep forum now is it( I know im going to stop daydreming now) now faced with a kid had to pick another vehicle, my wife already had a 1996 mercury sable but we needed a vehicle to cater to our needs and fit in the slim budget and we found a 1995 ford ranger with the 3.0 liter engine and it was a standerd cab and it wasnt fourwheel drive but here comes the kicker, it had 250,000............... to be continued
An old man goes into the doctor's office to receive the results of his tests run last week. The doctor sat him down and said to him, "There is no real easy way to tell you this sir, but you have a very serious case of alzheimers, and your cancer is past the point of recovery."
The old man looks around the room for a while, then says to the doctor, "Well.......at least I don't have cancer."
I'm selling my car, A guy comes over to take it for a test drive, he drives it around for 45 minutes, gets out, grabs the tail pipe, says DAMN that's hot, I say well, if i had your sign I could have stopped ya!!
(stupid sign)
Here is another........
I'm driving down the freeway, my tire goes flat, I pull into a gas station, attendant comes out, he says "tire go flat"? I say NOPE, the other three swelled right up on me!!!
Another..........
My wife and I were packing up to move to a new house. There is a U-haul in the driveway, boxes everywhere, neighbor comes over, says, Ya Moving?! I say NOPE we just pack it all up every few months to see how many boxes it takes.
THE last one.........
How do you know if your a red-neck?
You know your a red neck if the richest person in your family bought a new house, and you had to help take the wheels off!!!!
We have to cruise the internet, looking for something, say - the most ghetto Expedition?Navigator we can find, or the most beat up Expo/Nav we can find, etc.?
Otherwise, if you want to do the "best picture" contest, lemme know and I'll hook it up for you.
