Here's a link to the truck pages from the towing brochure from that year. https://www.fordification.com/librar...?/category/176
Here's a snippet from the brochure showing the page that applies to your truck.
If you need an actual physical document you may be able to get a copy of the brochure from ebay.

So what was posted above is as close as you may get.
Also note transmissions make a difference and the type of hitch.
A frame mounted hitch is rated higher than a bumper with a ball mounted to it.
Then add a weight distributing frame hitch will also pull more weight.
And none of them had a chassis number put to the pulling wight numbers.
Good luck

I'm curious: Does Belgium require this information to register? . . . or just to tow? . . . or for some other reason?
How much weight are you looking to tow?

You will not find a towing number with your VIN or chassis number
the best you will be able to do is the owners manual which will have a towing number for your combination of engine, trans, gears, cab and box configuration.
i think the information you need simply doesn’t exist. That’s not even information you can get here for new vehicles. They are all categorized by package.
your towing capacity will be the GCWR minus your trucks loaded weight. That info would be in the owners manual but it won’t have your VIN
what do others do? Or what have others with older vehicles done? Surly you aren’t the only one in your county that has towed with an older vehicle.
2 tons is not a problem. There are probably some configurations that can carry that much in the bed. I know my 79 is rated for more than that.

Pretty much everything about registering and driving a car in western europe is made to be however onerous they think they can make it without provoking a revolt. The government there wants you to get a bus pass.

I will go to the Dutch DMV (RDW) next week 16th Feb. I have asked the DMV HQ in Zwolle what to hand over. The inspector indicated that Ford did not issue a certificate of conformity for our trucks at the time because they were intended for the American market. What I've done; Look for the Safety Standard Certification Label in the door jamb of your truck. Hopefully this sticker is still there. This contains all the information you need. (rear axle code, ratio, engine type). Then an original owners manual (I have that for my truck from 1986) and from it you can read how and what with the data from the label. Furthermore, I purchased a deluxe Marti report ($55) and will be emailed to you in PDF in 7 days. This also helps you. The inspector in the Netherlands indicated that I must provide as much evidence as possible. But it remains the discretion of the inspector on site. Very bizarre. But I have prepared myself well and they have to come a long way to reject me.
