I have a 2004 Ranger FX4 OffRoad. The ABS has been locking up the rear ties on soft stops. Since the computer does not display any ABS codes, the lock up problem appears to be a stuck valve in the pump. Ford in their dubious wisdom, discontinued production of the pump years ago. I looked into overhauling the pump assembly but there are no parts for that either. So that leaves the only option of trying to find a serviceable used pump. That option does not appear to me to be a long term fix. The project is now to put the entire brake system off of a 2011 in the 04. Has anyone attempted this yet? I am looking for the bumps in the road that are not readily apparent.
