Fuel door latch failure
My brother has the current generation hybrid (pretty impressed with that truck). Anyway there is/was a string hanging down inside the left rear wheel well that is used to release the fuel door.
Over the weekend he tells me the string/cord broke and he is unable to get the fuel door to stay shut. He said he is using a velcro setup now to hold in place to keep the dashboard alerts from continuing.
It's under warranty, of course, but wondering if you guys are aware of any fixes or how to fix this issue?
On my 2020 and 2018 F150s, I did not have such. Definitely don't on my 2021 F250.
