Fuel access door

Anyone notice the fuel door doesn't close as tight as it should? Mine stays open a 8th inch or so ...just enough to bother me

I can't stand the fuel door on these trucks! They are so flimsy and light weight.

Mine snaps tight and stays closed - it is flimsy though and it would appear it would not take much to tweak it and cause a concern like you are mentioning.

Glue /epoxy some small magnets to it. On the back of the door itself and on the inner part where it closes.

My fuel door was not closing completely - the dealer repaired it under warranty. Something to do with the mechanism behind it that they had to order parts for.

You’ll need to add steel tabs for magnets to attract to. The body is all aluminum...

Same here, my fuel door was not closing completely so dealer replaced the whole door mechanism under warranty.

Mine was replaced under warranty on my 2017 when it was 18 moths old. The one on my 2019 is starting to do the same thing at 3 months old.

Couldn't you just glue a plastic magnet to the truck body??
