The 2022 Ford RV and Towing Guide states a max available payload for the F150 Powerboost at 2,120#. This doesn't take into account any of the various options of course. I also cannot find whether it is based on having one or two passengers at 150# each, a full tank of gas, etc. Does anyone know the answer to that question? When you look at the sticker payload, has it already accounted for a full tank or gas or any passengers?
On another forum some stated that their friend's Powerboost arrived and it has a sticker payload of 1,338#. If that doesn't already account for fuel and passengers, I may have to reject the truck I ordered when it does finally arrive.
Yellow sticker is what you need to go by but it vary truck to truck as they are equipped differently and yellow sticker counts actual equipment. Unless I am mistaken it DOES include fuel but does NOT include anything else, like passengers, gear, additional accessories etc.

I have a 2022 F150 Power Boost. Attached is a shot of the Yellow Loading and Tire Info . As you can see, I have a relatively high (for a PB) 1645#. Also attached is the window sticker. Ignore the (almost) fictitious number found in Ford's Tow Guide. Just find the yellow sticker. It will tell you all you need to know about what your truck will carry. When I was ordering my PB, I was very judicious in selecting options I wanted but didn't carry a large weight penalty. And example is the moon roof/sun roof. My truck has the 6.5' box and 4x4.

Thanks. All very helpful information. I think I'm realizing that for my truck the payload is likely going to come in below 1,400. So I need to do some soul searching and decide if I want to go with something that has "just enough" capacity, or want to scrap the whole order and start over with something that will have much more than enough. I really want the hybrid and all its features and the big issue is that my wife fell in love with that specific model. Decisions, decisions...

I was curious about payload as well. Seems like a deal killer as the advantages aren’t outweighing the hybrid in my opinion. Payload is not focused upon in marketing these and really it should be. Also, ford does state in the owners manual the payload sticker includes two 150 lbs people.

You are correct about the lack of payload marketing, and I guess I understand the reason. Tow ratings sound impressive, payload ratings not so much. Good to know that the manual states the sticker includes 300lbs for people in addition to a full tank of gas (based on what others have said). Thanks!

GVWR on the hybrid's is +300 lbs... so payload vs. a non-hybrid should NOT change substantially... all other things being roughly equal.

The below excerpt from the 2022 F-150 owners manual indicates that the weight of the driver and passenger (300 lb) is NOT included in the payload rating printed on the sticker:CALCULATING THE LOAD LIMIT
Steps for determining the correct load limit:
Locate the statement "The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed XXX kg or XXX lb." on your vehicle’s placard.
Determine the combined weight of the driver and passengers that will be riding in your vehicle.
Subtract the combined weight of the driver and passengers from XXX kg or XXX lb.
The resulting figure equals the available amount of cargo and luggage load capacity. For example, if the “XXX” amount equals 1,400 lb. and there will be five 150 lb. passengers in your vehicle, the amount of available cargo and luggage load capacity is 650 lb. (1400-750 (5 x 150) = 650 lb.)

Where did you see two 150 lb people were included? Please indicate page from manual as the payload discussion starting on page 391 of the 2022 F-150 owners manual contradicts your statement.

It wasn't in the manual, that was my mistake. It was in the fleet.ford.com towing guide. It's in small print but it has stated that for years.
