Looking for some insight on where to start, there’s a million resources as to pinpointing a 7.3L oil leak but maybe I’m looking too hard, I’m not seeing it.
I did the EBPV delete because I was leaking from the turbo pedestal but after that job i surprisingly had no leaks!!!! Now, it’s not a major leak but it’s a leak nonetheless, on the front of the oil pan and often times on the starter. The inspection plate is clean, trans is clean, front end of the vehicle from the axle to the bumper is clean. Oil cooler is clean, and my oil filter / drain plug is not loose or stripped. Y’all have any ideas? Is there a line, or part that I’m not thinking of?
Clean the valley..... stuff it full of paper towels or something... run it hard down the interstate... then pull out the paper towels looking for oil/diesel spots.... that will help with finding about generally where the leak is.
