For the last year and a half we've been fighting an intermittent check engine light. The code is a P1450-00 which is for the fuel tank vacuum.
When it first came on in July '21 the purge valve was functioning properly but the tank pressure sensor failed so that was replaced. After that all was good until late summer '22 when the light came on again and now it comes on 1-2 times a month. Problem is that when we stop by the mechanic to get it checked the condition has corrected itself so there is really no way to actually diagnose what is causing it so we just clear the code and hope that the next time the light stays on long term until we get it fixed which hasn't happened yet. Mechanic says it's either got to be a stuck purge valve(which has been checked a couple times and is working properly), the tank pressure sensor(which was replaced in July '21) or something bad in the wiring harness.
Anyone else have this problem and have any ideas that don't involve just throwing parts at it until it's fixed?
ETA. Truck is a 2018 with the 3.5 and 60,000 miles.
Are you smelling any fuel or is the tank difficult to fill up? If so, it could be that the carbon canister is bad and no longer allowing the tank to vent properly. This usually happens when someone is trying to get the maximum amount of fuel in the tank and keeps trying to put more fuel in after the pump clicks off several times.

It's the wife's truck but I asked her and she has had no problems filling up, no smells, and she doesn't try to get more gas in after the pump clicks off.
The other thing with these trucks is the little flapper at the top of the filler neck. Since these no longer have gas caps, that little flapper can wear and cause a vacuum leak. If the little flap in the filler neck is broken, you will need to replace it. Try cleaning it first, like in this video. The guy talks a lot, but the info in the video is good.
