L = 534 4V Super Duty gas V8 (you do have a gas motor, right?)
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
J66126 = 1970 numerical series, July 1970 production
153 = 153 inch wheelbase
M = White
C904 = C900, 27,500 lbs GVWR
DB8 = DB = Heavy Duty Black Vinyl // 8 = 81B Custom Cab
No transmission or rear axle codes--probably part of the special order.
N = Ford-Rockwell (Timken) front axle, 9,000 lbs capacity, with power steering
27500 = 27,500 lbs GVWR
235 3000 = 235 certified net HP @ 3000 RPM (matches the numbers for the 534)

0853 = Special Order Number.
As to your transmission, there should be an identifying tag on it. It's going to be an Allison, and there should be a model number there somewhere.
