Need some serious help

I have a 2019 F350 6.7 XL. Since I got it at 109,000 miles I have had tons of electrical issues. Most of them were DEF related and the most prominent were P02E9, P20EE, and P0884.

Just had a diesel mechanic over and we found a loose negative terminal that we solve so hoping that takes care of the 0884. I also have plans to fix the DEF issue, and haven't started on the E9 code.

My most immediate issue is as follows: Something fell on its face, hard. Fired the truck last night and was met with these messages. Trailer Brake module fault, Service Advance Trac, Check 4x4, Hill Descent Control fault, 911 assist not available, Airbag light. In addition, the wipers do not operate at all except full speed, the washer fluid does not spray, and I am currently stuck in 4 high due too the 4x4 failure.

I'm going to start trying to track down wiring issues, but any and all help and direction would be greatly welcomed!

This is going to sound stupid, but this particular issue caused me all kind of bizarre things with the radio, window controls, climate control and several other things.
Check the plug under the rear of the truck near the spare tire. Water intrusion & corrosion in that thing causes all kinds of weirdness. Mine was replaced under warranty on a new 2017 that I had. Problems all disappeared.

I would start with 2 brand new batteries, these trucks go wild with issues when the batteries start to go. I wouldn't put a dime into it until then, and check the plug Poncho is talking about

Check the batteries as well, (I.E. Load test them) weak/bad batteries can cause all sorts of weird issues. That said, sounds like a chafed/cut/chewed wiring harness or BCM issue to me.

So the fuse box looks dry (cover was missing but I have one for it now)

I've got off the driver send fender well out to check those bundles of wire which all appear fine. Ill crawl under and check that plug on the rear, as i have problems back there. (7 pin harness itself corroded put and needs a new pigtail, revers camera is missing lines and has issues, etc.)

Batteries were tested today individually and tested good. One is only 6 months old. May try a couple batteries if I can.

Both Batteries should be replaced at the same time with Diesels.

That plug seemed just fine, no corrosion, the black insert was a little pulled out but nothing that seemed to be an issue. Other than that or spending money on 2 brand new batteries and hoping.. I'm lost. I have a 13 hour drive from Michigan to VA on Monday and I would like it to at least be out of 4WD lol.

What are the odds of a bad BCM? My mechanic friend didnt seem to think it went that far. Said there were signs of electrical issues (DPF showed a number of like 59,000-60,000) but after a forced regen we had the percentage down to 10 percent. Scanner also showed lots of communication issues everywhere which points to maybe water getting into something somewhere. Maybe i need to get under the main fuse box?

Are we talking about the BJB? If yes, how long has the lid been missing?

Hmm, big fuse and really box under hood? Passenger side? Few months, all the time I've had the truck. Have one now, but only got it and put it on just now. Snaps are broken as well so it just sets on there.

There have been trucks that had issues from simply not having the lid snapped on all the way. If yours was completely missing there is a good chance that your problem could be there.

Any write ups on getting in there and accessing everything? I can tackle that tomorrow.

Update-

Had to take the truck to town, I have no functionality in the steering wheel buttons, or multifunction switch. So no wipers, radio control washer fluid, no brights. Horn does work and I can get wipers on full speed but nothing less. Hazards still operate.

Does this raise any flags by chance?

I second this, if you had no lid on it water can pour right in there. It may look great from above but the corrosion is all in the bottom. The 2020+ BJBs are just 2 nuts on top to remove and replace, pretty sure your 2019 is not that simple to fix.

Interesting. Well simple or not I'd just be happy to have found the root of my problem. I'll get in there tomorrow and find out. Found a part number that says fits my truck as replacement HU5Z-14A067-A . Of course havent seen a reliable picture, but states can replace without buying harness.
