It was 32 with the FPR hooked up. I didn't watch the bleed off. Leaking injectors were one of my suspicions.

Does the AFR go back to somwhat normal values above idle? If so this is a good possibility.

It gets leaner with RPM. By 2000 rpm it's hitting stoich @ 14.2.

Short article from motor trend on thermostats. They say that EFI engines run most efficiently at 195 degrees opening temp and above.

Carburetor vehicles are more efficient at 180 degrees opening temp.

Good point and pull the vacuum hose off of the fuel pressure regulator and look for fuel entering the vacuum line.

Fuel pressures hold steady, no bleed off.

Replaced MAP sensor. Saw improvement in idle, but still runs rich.

Swapped the 180 thermostat back to a 195 after figuring out that fuel maps don't begin to self-tune until the computer sees 185*. (Which it was barely touching with the 180 stat)

It does run better (and leaner) with the 195 thermostat. Operating temp has came back up to 200-205 as it was before the entire engine swap.

I'm still dealing with the falling/surging idle. But I'm hopeful that getting the EEC chipped will correct everything.
