So, I have this issue with plug #7. About 2 years ago there was an insert installed, then it blew 1 year later. I replaced it with another insert (now I'm ordering the Cal Van Kit 38900) but waiting for its arrival. Can I drive with a missing plug for a few days? It's going to be back and forth to work, nothing more, about 35 miles total.

Even if you unplugged the fuel injector to keep from oil dilution, I would be worried about dirt getting in the cylinder.
It is going to run rough as hell. The computer probably won't like it, may over fuel and take out the cat. You keep trying to milk this antifreeze leaking, bad headgasket, spark plug spitting engine along, you might want to start saving for a long block instead of a head gasket.
Not trying to be a dick, but I think I hear a fat lady warming up offstage.

can you - potentially (with the injector and coil unplugged but you’ll risk engine damage for sure
should you - no way and if you’re “trying to save money” then walk, bum a ride, get a bus pass, something intelligent
