I have an 05 F250. A few weeks ago it started running rough and I got a camshaft position error on my tuner. I cleared it and then I got PO266 cylinder 2 contribution error. Truck lost power and eventually died and would not restart. I changed camshaft sensor and injector 2 with Motorcraft injector. It drove fine 2 days then started running rough again. This time I got cylinder 8 contribution error. This also ended in a no start. I changed injector 8. That completed that side of motor for injectors. I had 4 and 6 changed in May. I drove 2 days and again started running rough. It gave cylinder 4 contribution error, cleared got cylinder 8 cleared it and then cylinder 2 contribution ending in a no start. Only one code came up at a time sI did not change stand pipe or dummy plug. I double checked FICM connection and think I had them completely engaged. I did blue spring and fuel pump about a year ago. FICM IS aftermarket Alliant installed in 2016. Is this enough information for someone to tell me what's likely to be the problem I'm assuming new injectors are ok. Could this be a FICM problem? Wiring harness issue? Can I use a multimeter to check individual pins on pigtail or check pins on FICM body? If so how do I 8 set multimeter ? I realize this may require a shop diagnostic test to discover the issue. The fact that it seemed fixed for a few days each time and then failed seems might offer a clue to someone more knowledgeable than me.
Also when the engine starts running rough there is a gradual decrease in power and the the transmission seems to jar in between gears and it seems it can't shift at the right time or won't shift at all
