Driver door keypad

2002 Excursion 7.3 lmt...A year or so ago my entry keypad stopped working...I could lock with it but not open...all of a sudden it started working again and then last night same thing but sometimes it will not even lock by the pad. Question : is there an OEM replacement or is there a fix for mine? Im bad to leave running and I dont want to get stranded/locked out. Any help appreciated

hopefully its just the pad and not the security module itself going bad, that can happen too.

how do you Lock the doors from the Keypad?
I never made that work.
