'Fuel Pump Driver Module'
Visibly check it every year or so, and take that opportunity to spray it down good with '3-in-1' Garage Door Lubricant* spray, especially around the bottom where it sits on the frame member. If the FPDM already is showing corrosion of the aluminum base where it sits on the steel frame (Galvanic corrosion accelerated by the presence of road salt), replace it or at least be aware that it's days are numbered.
* Heavy-Duty silicone spray, non-greasy, also has a strong odor that rodents hate so its great for putting on any hoses/rubber parts

FPDM must be on plastic standoffs. New ones come with those . The electrolysis between the steel axle and the aluminum base will eat aluminum . Add salt and water and it will go fast . You can make your own standoffs out of pvc pipe , use stainless screws . You can paint the aluminum in addition .
