Fried my pcm am in need of a nvk5 out of a 2000 f250 lariat 2wd also any reputable refurbished that the group may know of. and can it be flashed for single shot injectors?
Well got the pcm back from dieseltechchatt hydra was fried too called php and their gonna replace it at a prorated warrenty wich was good of them put pcm in and still running bad but I think he flashed the pcm for split shots so have to wait to get chip back from power hungry and try to figure out whats going on. IDM maybe? pulled both valve cover and both uvch connections look good
Just bought a infrared heat gun and drivers side all show around 170 passenger side all show about 80 so definitely passenger side now should I ohm out engine harness to that side. Going to see if I can find a cheap Idm to try that

Where are you located? I'm in NC and have a spare idm you can try if your around these parts.
What I did notice while running with valve cover off all the injectors were spitting oil but very weak is this normal and could it be a bad injector or orings? also can I unplug each injector to tell or how would i do an injector leak down test

At idle, there is very little need for injector pulse width, so a small amount of oil coming out seems to me to be normal. Others with more experience please chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok wasn't Shure if that amount of oil was correct you wouldn't happen to know about that o ring test would you. or info on it.
I just know it has something to do with compressed air fed into the sys.
A little history. Full force 160/0 injectors about 8 months ago new ucvh new motor Craft glow plugs all from FF. fresh oil change and fuel filter yesterday. new motor craft ipr yesterday. 6month old icp. Now to the problem went to start after work and truck started and immediately shut off . thought wow that was weird. then started right up but when i got home getting off highway it started shaking real bad got home revved a few times it cleared up. but the next morning it tried to start but took a long time to crank and finally started and was rough for about 30 seconds and cleared up again. ok so now I know I have an issue. that's when the oil and fuel filter change and ipr was done. still the slow start and rough running until oil pressure came up and cleared so I went out to start this morning and it tried to start but just wouldn't catch. this afternoon after work when I just cranked and cranked till it finally started again ruff but cleared up after awhile. got the truck warm shut off and now running rough again like only
Ok finally had a chance to ohm out the wiring harness from the idm plug to injectors here were the results
1-2.6 2-2.5
3-2.6 4-2.5
5-2.6 6-2.7
7-2.6 8-2.5
ground to injectors o l
power to injectors o l
do these numbers look correct? Also opened the idm and no visible signs of water intrusion. I do have another idm coming tomorrow hopefully that is the problem.
