Well I knew this day was coming, 97 F250HD 4wd 7.3 PS, 180,000 needs ball joints, probably tie rod ends spring bushings replaced at a minimum cushions at the very front should be replaced. While in there suspect I may as well replace the shock absorbers as well, looking for suggestions as to recommended suppliers, usually use Moog but hearing some complaints re quality as of late so also any suggestions to avoid the typical gotchas as well as what else should I go ahead and replace while I am in there, I have owned this truck since new in 1997 and pretty much everything underneath is original so I am not optimistic this will be an one day job.
I do have the service and evtm manuals but I find many times experience trumps the recommended procedures
Any suggestions and words from the more experienced is greatly appreciated.

I have had good luck with rockauto for finding motorcraft oem stuff, or moog. Tie rod ends etc should be easy, but getting to the ball joints is gonna be a bit of a fight, especially if you've got 4wd. Might as well do the front wheel bearings while you have them out, too, unless theyre new.
