I'm trying to find the correct wheel hub seal for my 1996 F150 4x4. So far I've got it down to two seal, the Timken 4250 and 710430. Problem is neither fits both dimensions of the hub itself and the spindle. The 4250 fits the hub, but is too big for the spindle, and the 710430 fits the spindle but too small for the hub. What's the deal? The spindle and hub are original to the truck. The spindle is non abs and has the two step shoulder to it if you will towards the mounting flange. Can anyone give me advice on what seal this uses?

 

This is when you have to take it to the parts store and see if they can match something up for you. Try to find an old-school place, not Autozone or Advance.

 

I show with a Dana 44 front the left and right are not the same on this truck.

Right is a 470672
Left is a 710043

I have not worked on a set up such as this. Not sure why left and right is not the same but maybe try the above seals and see if one works for ya.
