Hub assembly

I am working on a 2002 f250 4x4. I am having issues with the hub assembly and the seal that presses in right behind it. The seal has failed for the third time in less than a year. I just changed it out as well as the hub assembly this past week. And the seal failed again today. If anyone knows what would be causing it, please let me know

are you talking about the dust seal?

very common part to fail. Ford has a "new" version that seems to last longer

I'm pretty sure that's what it is, but I can't figure out what keeps causing it to fail like it is
