Looking for some advice on installing a new switch from Carpenters… when I bought the truck and started the restoration, the original switch was hanging down and hot wired, after several years of work I’m now rewiring the freshly painted cab, but can’t figure out how the switch is actually secured to the dash. The housing and spring line up and fit perfectly, but I can figure out if I’m missing a clip or some other part, as the switch doesn’t rotate at all, nor does the bezel. Can anyone assist? Thanks….
Thanks folks, I needed to gently twist the Chinese repop bezel on and off a couple of times with pliers on the bench, after wrapping the edge with tape to avoid scratching it. That opened up the required gap enough so that it could be installed while the switch was pushed into the dash from behind.
