I thought you said that you didn't have a diesel in it? It's a 2 piece driveshaft, right? I think I have both sections here. You need the front or the rear? Also looks like your truck is the 131" wheelbase, not the 157". I will check what lengh mine are.
it doesn’t have a diesel in it has the flat head v8 and it is a one price drive shaft

Hmmmm , then I guess you will have to get one made. I don't think a one piece driveshaft is stock. What is the diameter of the one you twisted? It almost looks like your truck is shorter than the 131.5" SWB . Perhaps that's what is up with the driveshaft. Could you measure the axle ctr-ctr measurement? It sure is in nice shape!
So I have decide to get a donner truck so as of now I will have the two speed rearend to get rid of an it is massive also have a few other parts I no longer need the split rim wheels an the front straight axle
Definitely not a one ton. 1 1/2 or larger. Not sure if jail bars had 2 ton versions or not. Someone here will know for sure. That said your truck looks in good shape. The stacks and bed treatment don't do it for me but its yours so my opinion doesn't matter. The cab and grille bats look amazingly straight. I can't tell from the photos about the wheels. They shouldn't be widow makers but a lot of part swapping occurs in 75 years. Worth checking, IMO. Keep posting your questions and of course more photos.
the stacks an bed have removed, an so has the rear end I got plans for it finally getting around to working on it
Just keep us in the loop and remember we love pictures!
So the rearmed was easy to swap over to 1953 f1i need to get rid of the rear end an vacuum booster for the 2 speed rear end an I also have other parts that will possibly be coming off
