Love that Galaxie article - always liked those body style galaxies and fairlanes. Had no idea cars came with towing packages; guess it only lasted through that camping craze era. Wonder if those special mirrors were part of the package

As a kid we had a 68 wagon for pulling the camper around.
From what I remember as a kid it did the job pretty good!
The mirrors we had fit on the inner lip of the fender & hood with 2 brackets and a hook that went down to the wheel opening and hooked there.
You would take up on a turn buckle to tighten it in place, worked pretty good.
