An automatic 2 wire choke for an edelbrock, for example, can be wired pretty easy with a fuse tap and some wire to the positive and a short run to the base bolt holding the carb to the engine for a ground.

id personally hate sitting outside in the coldest part of the year for enough time to open the choke and then go inside till its warm lol! Did that enough when I was young for my dad(The qjet never quite liked starting cold)
