OEM Brake Controller?

Hi Folks,
Did they make an OEM brake controller for the 1991 f150? My truck has the harness and is wired to the plug at the hitch. Under the dash, it ends at the slender, round, grey, 3 wire plug. If I can't find an oem controller, is there a adapter harness you can get for under the dash? I really don't want to cut off the plug that is there if I don't have to... any part numbers you may have would be of great assistance!!!

Not my picture, but this is what I want to plug into if I can get an adapter or oem controller

I might be thinking of the wrong year, but, I thought they were a 4 prong connection? Maybe search up behind the ashtray or dash cubby.
Finding a functional oem controller for that year, (if they even had one), i would imagine to be very difficult. On my 1994, i have an aftermarket controller, once the gain is set correctly, it handles my 5th wheel with no problem.

Yep, I think the 92 and later were a 4 prong. Bricknose and Bullnose both had the 3 prong I'm pretty sure! Even if I can just get a part number or any info on an oem plug to splice the new controller into, that would be great! I've been through the threads on a couple sites but no one addresses this part of it. A lot of folks seem to want to just hack off the plug that is there, but I don't want to go that way so the search continues! LOL

This is just a pigtail that you wire an aftermarket brake controller into.
