I want to hook up a brake controller to my 2000 f150. I heard, on some models you can just plug one in. How do I know if I have that option, I looked under the dash, and seem some plugs. I have 2 plugs at the hitch a 4 way flat and the 7 way round.

There should be a 6 pin female plug under the dash just above your right knee area.
The truck came with the harness originally, but it is probably gone by now. It came in the glovebox. Hoppy makes the wire kit that will plug right in and then hook up to your brake controller.
