Hey guys so I’ve been at this problem for about a year and some change. I have a 95 F350 7.5 460 motor and one day I was driving and one of my lines blew and well tranny fluid everywhere
then I get home and the OD light is flashing
I literally replace the solenoid pack the filter sensors nothing worked … FINALLY I found a thread with the guy having the same issue on the E250 with the same tranny I guess honestly I don’t know which transmission I have BUT they said there wiring was unplugged that went to the solenoid pack.. But lo and behold it was the wiring harness going to the solenoid pack on the transmission on the passenger side
The wiring harness runs on top of the transmission in between the cab of the transmission there are screws coming out of the bottom of the cab that you only have about a half of an inch clearance between that and the transmission the wiring harness was pierced By the screw and it’s severed three of my wires. Got under there tonight and got it done running like new. Hope this helps someone out there . Cheers
