High idle sticking

High idle sticking
1980 f150 351M and a motor craft 2150. Got carb adjusted so high idle comes on when it’s cold and kicks down easily. But every time I accelerate after kicking it down the high idle comes back on. It always kicks back down but I can’t get it to stay off, any suggestions of what to adjust on the carb?
