6.2 Exhaust Manifold Options
Looking into replacing my driver side exhaust manifold on a 2013 f-250 6.2. I have a couple questions.
- Are dorman & Oem manifolds , or stainless works header my only options?
- Are dorman and oem ford manifolds the exact same part. I've seen people say the dorman are the same as oem just with the part number grinded off. Asking this because there is a $70 price difference between the two.
- Are OEM studs and bolts my best bet? Is there no stainless options?
- Would I need a tune if I got the stainless works headers? considering the headers so I don't have to worry about manifolds in the future.
Any Input would be appreciated. Thanks

you would probably be able to get away with no tune and the headers but you would be leaving gains on the table and in my case i got cat inefficiency codes. the headers are not cheap and last i saw they are like 1800, although autoanything.com says they have the off-road version for 1482.00. id say if you have no plans to mod the truck id go oem or dorman manifolds as the dormans can be had from rock auto for 68 a side.

I replaced the passenger side manifold several years ago with Dorman. The manifold I received was exactly the same as the factory, and where the part number was cast into the factory manifold it was ground down on the Dorman manifold. I don't know if it is still that way, I just know what happened in my situation. The Dorman manifold was significantly cheaper.
