Cargo master, do you know of a comparison chart for the relief spring?
It's in the various car lines shop manuals. It doesn't compare springs it's it the pressure testing readings. Example would be a Lincoln would have a higher test pressure than a Maverick or Pinto. Nothing wrong with a saginaw pump, I just never had the need for the swap. I don't mind the cargo master, kind of fits now that I'm stuck on a fork truck at work.
I have a 300 I6 engine. When I converted to hydroboost brakes with a redhead box, I found that when parking, working brakes and steering, my power would fade. the oe Ford pump couldn't keep up. I needed a Saginaw with dual return lines, and found what I needed in a 1978 LTD wagon with a 460 in it. The bracket came out of a 70's Econoline van. I purchased aeroquip fittings and hose and built my own hoses. Now it works great in those tight parking situations.
That is how I found it/do it on my LAPTOP, I do not really FTE a bunch from my phone. Once you are logged in from a PC or Laptop. In the top blue line click on User CP. Once that opens there should be a list on the left. Click on Edit Your Details. Once that opens scroll down to Optional Information. See the Custom User Title box? Type in what you want it to be, hit reset.
Yup, that's the screen from that same section on desktop and I don't have that option for some reason. You can't get to any of this info on a phone. Oh well, enough hi-jack, just something to be aware of.

Yep, I converted to a Saginaw pump before I installed hydroboost. That Ford pump woulda been pretty sad pulling a PS pump and a hydroboost unit.
On my 300 inline six-banger in my '77 F350, I retained the Ford ps pump.
For converting to cross-over steering, I chose a Ford Corp ps box sourced from a '93 Ford F-150 2wd pickup because they are cheap $$$, and durable.
A saginaw ps box sourced from a Jeep will also do the job, but using the Ford Corp ps box was and experiment, and works flawlessly. I'm happy and didn't have to sell my soul to some rebuilder outfit. All my components are not stock, but are easily replaceable OEM donor pieces.
